In 2016, I decided I would start getting out from behind the camera and starting snapping photos of me in front of the camera. Partly, I wanted to challenge myself cause I was never really good at taking selfies but the more important reason was to start documenting my life with my loved ones so they could see that I was there too, enjoying them, laughing with them, building memories with them.
I was so fortunate to stumble upon The ME Project spearheaded by the wonderful Jen Kashak. The ME Project is a Facebook group for women to participate in a Project 52 where the focus is self portraits. Each week a new theme is introduced and I try to include myself in that theme. Follow along with me each week as I try out new techniques.
